Debbie Treadwell
Debbie has been involved with horses since the early 1970’s. She
grew up on a small hobby farm in rural Minnesota where she was very
active in local 4-H and Saddle Clubs. In the early 1980’s she
began college and worked at a few nationally recognized training
and breeding facilities in Minnesota, Arizona and California. In
1986 she graduated with degrees in Agri-Business Management and Light
Horse Management from the University of Minnesota in Waseca.
After graduation, she knew her career had to involve her
lifelong passion for horses. So, she immediately obtained a
position with McNamara Company and began selling insurance.
The combination of Debbie’s love for horses and her direct
involvement with them has made her a leader in the equine insurance
industry. Her customers appreciate the fact that they can have
one agent for all their insurance needs. Debbie has written
insurance for veterinarians, charter bus companies, homebuilders,
contractors, restaurants, manufacturers, golf courses and more.
Today, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family as they share her lifelong passion of showing and breeding horses. In
fact, many of the horses she has bred or shown have gone
on to be Scottsdale, Canadian and U.S. National Champions.
She has won numerous Championships and Top 10 awards at the prestigious MN Arabian Horse Breeders Fall Festival, The Iowa Gold Star, The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, Region 10 Championships and U.S. National shows. The horse was truly Debbie’s
first love and she is very lucky her husband and two children
enjoy them as much as she does. Together, they own a small
farm near Buffalo, Minnesota where the family vacations are
planned around the horse shows.

Emily Reed

I fell in love with horses at a local summer camp at the age of five. In order to be around the horses, I joined Croixside Pony Club in Stillwater Minnesota. Through Pony Club I learned to appreciate the importance of proper horsecare and sportsmanship and began to develop my eventing skills. I went on to achieve my Pony Club C-3 rating. During my teens I was very active in the local eventing world and learned the joys of trailering my horse to competitions at the Kentucky Horse Park and lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, Illinois.
After high school I travelled to Florida to compete at the center of professional eventing in Ocala, Florida. During my five years in Florida I worked with top eventers, trainers and Gold Medal Olympians. My work experience at a 30 horse facility exposed me to care, training and veterinary care. I had the privilege of learning from and travelling across the country with amazing show jumpers, eventers, and dressage riders from all over the world.
Not leaving my formal education behind, while in Florida I earned my Bachelors degree in History at the University of Florida in 2011.
